Blackbook - "My Beautiful Witch"
I'm starting with a song which is neither kpop or metal, but rather some darkwave/synthpop (I don't know much about these genres, so I picked some of their tags from their bandcamp).
I don't usually listen to this type of music, but I really enjoy the catchy melody and the sympathetic music video.
Banshee
I was so much spammed with Reels of this singer on Instagram that I ended up looking for her music videos on Youtube. Banshee offers an interesting contrast between her pure looking and her black metal screaming, wchich she names "siren metal".
In her lyrics, she talks about the violences she had endured.

I also discovered this artist on Instagram, well sooner thsi year, but I haven't put this song in my discoveries yet! I don't listen to many songs in french - though it's my mother tongue-, but I fell in love with the dark interesting lyrics and the main instrument being the piano.
Within Temptation
Do you remember Amaranthe's music video with vampires made with AI? I found another metal music videos using AI, and I'm really sad about it.
There are two (two!) music videos from Within Temptation with A LOT, if not all, of images made with AI. Say hello to weird hands and undistinct shapes on people. It's sad because the songs are pretty cool.
In my last article of musical discoveries, I wanted to create some fake album covers for the playlist, and since I enjoyed it, I did it again fot this post, with Gimp and Inkscape.
I was inspired by the first song of the playlist, "My Beautiful Witch". What do you think?
